This year has already proven to be challenging. Not only is it the last year of school, but I am also in the graduate program and teaching a few classes as well. Hopefully I'll survive! If all goes well, I'll be graduating next May.

Jeff Votava Oct. 2000

Just wanted to let you know about some exciting news in our lives. I just got a job flying for Continental Express airlines. I interviewed this week and found out the same day. I will be flying an airplane called the ATR. It seats about 46 people, and hopefully I'll be based out of Houston, TX. The other choices for bases are Newark, NJ and Cleveland, OH, so I think Houston sounds the best!

Michele (Barbaris) Belton Oct. 2000
I know it's like a Big Reunion every other year at conference time.... or something like that...this was a smaller scaled one right?! I miss living in Utah for this reason, but know the Lord would have us to be here.   Things are going well for my husabnd and I.  We just moved into a house from a 2-bedroom apartment, and are loving the space. The house is rented out from a member of our ward and we are the 4th LDS family to occupy it! So far every family  hat has lived here has had at least one child, we hope for the same blessing!!

Boyd Evans Oct. 2000

I wanted to let you know we are both doing great, I am currnetly serving as a stake missionary, and LeeAnn is serving as the primary chorister in our ward. We love our ward so much we are planning to buy a home in the ward when I graduate from school. LeeAnn has finished her masters degree in teaching and is still teaching at Crescent Elementary. She loves her job very much, and she loves having great parents come help her at school. We are also expecting our first baby. LeeAnn is about 8 weeks along and doing fine. The experienced mothers in the ward do not believe her when she says that she feels good. She has not experienced morning sickness yet and we hope that it stays that way. We are both very excited about becoming parents.

Erin (Oldroyd) Rodabough Oct. 2000 I wish my little family could come so I could introduce them to everyone and show them off a little, too. We just has an addition to our family on September 11th. We had a son, McKay Alexander, and are enjoying him so much. He is a healthy happy baby and it is so wonderful to be a mother. You can go to www.students.washington.edu/drodabou to see some pictures of he first couple days on the earth. :) We are doing well in Washington. Darren has just completed his applications for orthodontics residencies that he will start next summer after he graduates from dental school. I'm really proud of his accomplishments. He also just finished serving as the ward mission leader for our ward, a calling that he  found very challenging but rewarding. When he was first called, he said to me "Isn't this a grownup's calling?" We keep forgetting that we're now the grownups.  Please say "hi" to everyone for me. I'll be thinking of you all on the 6th. Take care!
